Bout damn time!

After having been delayed until the end of August, Batman: Arkham Asylum is once again nearly upon us. But you’ll only have to wait until this Friday to actually try Batman’s latest adventure.

Eidos Interactive has announced that a Batman: Arkham Asylum demo will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on August 7. According to Eidos, the demo will offer a taste of the “FreeFlow” combat system, as well as Batman’s stealth capabilities.

The full game will pit Batman against the likes of Harley Quinn, Bane, Killer, Poison Ivy and the recently unveiled Scarecrow, all of whom have taken over Arkham Asylum.

Look for the full game on August 25 in America, and August 28 in Europe and Australia.
