The new Chronicles of Riddick game ships today and I’m gonna head over to Best Buy to pick it up. I really liked the demo (in fact I played through it mutiple times, I didn’t even do that with Resident Evil 5 and I ended up playing the crap outta that). Is it me or am I the only one who actually LIKES Vin Diesel? Sure, he’s no Gary Oldman (possibly the finest actor of our time), but he makes decent action films. When he’s on screen I know I’m gonna see (in no particular order):
And you know what? I am completely cool with that. Fuck all that Ingmar Bergman extensential bullshit. I wanna see a broad get railed in the back seat of a monstertruck when I fork over my 10 bucks to see a movie. I wanna see a guy’s head get torn off by a giant praying mantis croc-apillar looking thing. I wanna see a Ferrari launch off a building to rescue a kitten in a tree. Besides I heard ol’ Vinnie loves New York Hardcore and I’m totally down with that. I’d love to see Vin mosh it up.
I hope to get in a few hours of play time with it so I can post my feelings about it here. I have tickets to see the Phillies tonight so I may not be around to share anything about it until way later. Stay tuned!
