So I was sitting at the computer this morning doing some work in my kitchen when my doorbell rang. I leaned over the table and looked out my door and see this guy standing there in tan pants, a old black messenger hat and a short sleeve white dress shirt with a logo “Speedy Brothers Telegrams”. My initial thoughts were that Jehovah’s Witnesses were getting crafty.

I went to the door and he ask for Mr. Brad Campbell. I signed on the line and printed my name next to it. He asked if I could confirm that my message was in the envelope and that I received it. I said thank you and he jumped on his Pee Wee Herman looking bike and road away.

When I first looked at the telegram I was extremely puzzled and had no clue what was going on. I thought it was just gibberish. But after reading it a second time I realized what it was.

Here is the message in its entirety:

“ISIDORE VOUCHES THAT YOU ARE TRUSTWORTHY    BE ON LOOK-OUT FOR A PACKAGE FURTHER EXPLANATION FORTHCOMING   YOUR HELP URGENTLY NEEDED

=MARK G MELTZER=”

I have to say I’m pretty impressed with how far they’ve gone to market this game. If they’re putting this much effort in promoting it, I can only imagine what the final product will be like. I’m really excited to see what come next.
