Once we got there, we grabbed a seat on one of the benches close to the statue we were supposed to meet the Silver Pawn at. We got there about 15 minutes early, and we just speculated amongst ourselves on who the Silver Pawn was supposed to be. Was it the old guy in the jeff cap, walking around with a brief case? How about that tall lanky fellow, trying to look like the lead singer of the Strokes… knowing what we know of 2KGames, anybody could be the Silver Pawn… But of all the everyday faces in the crowd, only one would be wearing a lapel pin with the logo of the I.O.O.P… But where was he?

Our answer presented itself at exactly 3:30. Like a wraith appearing out of thin air, a finely dressed gentleman wearing the logo I.O.O.P was standing right where he said he be. Where the hell did he come from? I didn’t remember noticing him beforehand… Did we blink for a second?

The time for the answer had come though, and one by one, individually, we all each introduced ourselves to the Silver Pawn with our own pass phrase “I understand you’re a friend of Crystal”.

I can only speak for my own experience, but when I said my phrase to him, the Silver Pawn was very hesitant on trusting me. After reassuring him, by telling him my name, he told his story… I wish I had a recording of it, so I can only paraphrase… but basically he was going to intercept the Red Pawn… when the Red Pawn saw him, he turned tail and bolted before the Silver Pawn could get him. While fleeing though, the Red Pawn dropped is dossier, which was retrieved by the Silver Pawn. The Silver Pawn had to move though and didn’t have time to make out the riddle of paperwork inside and asked me to assist. He also wanted me to share this information with anyone who I could trust to get the word out… I agreed and turned around to go back and sit down on my bench, and by the time I looked back up… the Silver Pawn was nowhere to be seen…

So, as promised, here’s everything that I have, the other guys all have pretty much the same thing which we’ll scan and upload soon..

I turn to the fans of NW23, 2K forums,and anyone who loves a good BioShock mystery….. what does this all mean?

For all of the images, I needed to use a manilla folder background.. the reason why I did that was so that you could see where the cutout letters were (something you couldn’t do when you scan it on it own)

So, it’s about 11am… still in my jammies, just got done disciplining one of the kids and there’s a knock on my front door…

I open it up, and there’s a guy in a trench coat and fedora, asking if I’m Kurt and if I know Orrin O Lutwidge, then hands me an envelope and wants me to open it…

I’ve seen this movie too many times, I’m about to be served notice right?

Wrong, I’ve just been asked to drive down to center city to go meet The Silver Pawn, and assist him in his duties… I have a frigging passphrase to give him… how awesome is that?

What was a lazy Sunday has just turned into a lazy Sunday with a road trip underscored by nerdiness…

Now if I could only get a hold of Colt, John or Brad..

I’ll post again tonight with a copy of the letter and whatever it is I find.
